My thoughts about Yellowface

 Hi Bookworms,

Today Yellowface written by R.F. Kuang.

This is a story of Juniper Hayward, a writer who so far wasn't massively successful and taking an advantage of her friend (successful writer) accidental death by editing the other girl manuscript and publishing it as her own.

Book is gripping from page one, we know what Juni is doing is morally wrong but somehow we sort of understand why she thinks book is more hers than Athena's. Juni lies more and more and is afraid of being discovered. Author is showing Juni's choices, her mental state, impact of what she does on her.

I can say truthfully that I kinda like Juni even if she actually hurting herself in long shot, but that is her choice, she is an adult person, who pretty well know she will have to deal with the consequences sooner or later.

Yellowface is great read and if you still didn't have a chance to read it, please do, it's worth it.
